Participate in Research to Improve Palliative Care for People with Interstitial Lung Disease

Posted on: Wednesday 23rd October 2024

A team of CRE-PF researchers are developing a palliative care referral tool for people living with interstitial lung disease.

Palliative care helps people live well with their disease and timely access is very important. However, figuring out the best time to refer people to palliative care can be tricky for healthcare professionals. This new tool aims to address this challenge.

The researchers are looking for people living with interstitial lung disease to participate in a workshop that will guide the design and evaluation of this new referral tool. The workshops will be an opportunity to provide your feedback and expertise to ensure the tool best meets the needs of patients.

Depending on where you live you can attend a workshop in person or online. Each workshop will last up to 2 hours and you will receive a $100 cash voucher in compensation for your time.

You can download the information sheet to learn more about this research.
