CRE-PF Research Development Manager
About
Dr Kirston Barton is the Research Development Manager for the CRE-PE. She supports the development of new research initiatives from initial concept through to funding opportunities and applications, ethics submissions, protocol development and impact tracking.
Kirston completed her PhD in Immunology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Prior to joining the CRE-PE, she worked at the NHMRC Clinical Trials Centre where she was involved in both research development and the management of clinical trials across oncology, critical care, kidney disease, and diabetes. She has a strong background in genomics, infectious disease, and emerging technologies, bringing broad expertise to support the advancement of collaborative research.
