Pulmonary Fibrosis Awareness Month

In September the CRE-PF joins Pulmonary Fibrosis Awareness Month a global campaign to boost the understanding of pulmonary fibrosis, its symptoms, and the sources of information available to support those impacted.

The theme for our campaign in 2026 is ‘Pulmonary fibrosis is becoming treatable’.

The CRE-PF Pulmonary Fibrosis Awareness Month 2025 campaign was aimed at amplifying patient experiences with diagnosis, and the important role GPs have in early detection.

Pulmonary Fibrosis Institute

The Centre of Research Excellence in Pulmonary Fibrosis has established the Pulmonary Fibrosis Institute, a not-for-profit company registered in Australia. The Pulmonary Fibrosis Institute exists to support ongoing research into pulmonary fibrosis and ensure the longevity of research infrastructure developed through our collaborative efforts.
