Australasian Interstitial Lung Disease Nurses Alliance
The Australasian Interstitial Lung Disease Nurses Alliance, known as ALINA for short, is shaping the future of ILD nursing in Australasia. ALINA is an initiative dedicated to sharing and growing ILD nursing expertise and connections to improve ILD patient care.Â
The ALINA Steering Group is chaired by Karen Symons, ILD Nurse Specialist at the Alfred Hospital in Melbourne. Please meet the current ALINA Steering Group members here.
If you are a nurse working in ILD in Australia or New Zealand, please join us!
We understand working in a highly specialised and spread-out field that it can be difficult to connect with other professionals and have the opportunity for shared knowledge, resources, support, mentoring and collaboration.Â
We have curated some useful ILD nursing resources, which are available here: ALINA Resources – Centre of Research Excellence in Pulmonary Fibrosis
We would love to hear your thoughts. Whether you’re an ILD expert or newer to the field and keen to learn more, your input is important to us.
Please contact us to provide your feedback on what we’re doing and let us know what you’re interested in, or how you would like to be involved
