Webinar: Indoor air and accessibility

Monday, 17th of November, 2025. 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm - AEDT.

Join the Centre for Safe Air for an important conversation on how indoor air quality intersects with accessibility, equity and workplace health and safety.

This webinar, Indoor Air and Accessibility, will explore the varied indoor environments where we spend most of our lives, and how poor indoor air can exclude vulnerable populations—such as people with chronic illness, respiratory conditions, or immunocompromised individuals—from participating fully in public life.

Hear from Plum Stone, Founder of the Safer Air Project, and Associate Professor Wendy Miller from Queensland University of Technology, as they unpack the science, policy, and lived experience behind the push for cleaner indoor air. Drawing on recent national reports, including the State of Indoor Air in Australia 2025, the speakers will highlight how indoor air quality is not just a health issue—it’s a matter of equity, workplace safety, and human rights.

The webinar will be Chaired by Dr Sabrina Idrose, Postdoctoral Research Fellow, Centre for Safe Air and the University of Melbourne.
