About ICLAF
The International Colloquium on Lung and Airway Fibrosis (ICLAF) is a biennial non-profit meeting to discuss cutting-edge advancements in pathogenesis, management and therapies for pulmonary fibrosis.Β
ICLAF fosters collaboration among the international community, supports early career researchers and engages stakeholders including patient advocacy groups and industry partners.
In 2026 Sydney will host this event against the backdrop of beautiful Sydney Harbour.
Β Delegates will be treated to a 5-day program of inspiring presentations, vibrant plenary sessions and wonderful poster presentations. ICLAF is unique in that it is the only international meeting dedicated to understanding and treatment of lung and airway fibrosis.
Why Attend?
It’s been over 40 years since the first meeting in London in 1982, which brought together scientists from around the world to discuss and better understand the mechanisms driving lung fibrosis. We have now seen this community grow significantly and with it, the development of novel therapies for lung and airway fibrosis.
The purpose of this meeting is to provide a forum for the presentation of research findings and technologies, the exchange of ideas and the fostering of collaboration between discovery scientists, translational and clinical researchers, as well as our industry partners.
Our comprehensive program will provide the opportunity to interact with international experts, embrace science and learn about the latest developments in pathogenesis, management and therapies for pulmonary fibrosis in plenary sessions and workshops, aimed at improving the outcome of patients globally with this disease.
