During Pulmonary Fibrosis Awareness Month, we will be sharing a series of stories from people with lived experience of pulmonary fibrosis and you will also meet some of the CRE-PF healthcare professionals working to improve and extend the lives of people with pulmonary fibrosis.
David Hood lives in Sydney and had advanced disease by the time he was diagnosed with pulmonary fibrosis. For David a lung transplant was the only option.
Listen to Your Body and Don’t Dismiss the Signs
David was diagnosed with idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis late and recognises that he had been ignoring the warning signs.
His message to other people is to listen to your body and talk to your GP if you have any symptoms.
Learn about David’s journey from diagnosis to lung transplant in this film.
