Darrin has 35+ years of experience, nursing in Critical Care both nationally and internationally, and the last 24 years as Clinical Nurse Consultant in Respiratory Medicine. He has a Master of Nursing Critical Care.
Darrin is the Clinical Nursing Lead for Airways Disease, Respiratory Failure Service, and Pleural Service at St Vincentβs Hospital, Sydney. His scope of practice spans inpatients, outpatients and community. He is an active member of the Thoracic Society of Australia and New Zealand, Asia Pacific Society of Respirology, European Respiratory Society and the Australian College of Critical Care Nurses.
Darrin has a keen interest in respiratory disease management from a patient and nursing perspective. He is also passionate about healthcare professional (nursing, allied health & medical) education at a clinical and tertiary level in both undergraduate and post graduate.
