About
Jess Rhodes is a Clinical Nurse Consultant working in the Interstitial Lung Disease (ILD) Clinical Trials Team at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital since 2016. She has extensive expertise in coordinating both industry-sponsored and investigator-led clinical trials.
Jess served as the central coordinator for the Australasian Interstitial Lung Disease Registry from its initial pilot phase. She also served as the lead coordinator for the internationally recognised COLDICE study, working alongside Associate Professor Lauren Troy.
Jess is passionate about mentoring new clinical trial nurses, expanding trial access – particularly in rural areas – and advancing the recognition of clinical trial nursing. Jess also supports nurse-led research and champions patient involvement in trial design to ensure studies reflect the real needs of those living with ILD.
