About

Dr Kah Yee Tham is a respiratory and critical care physician at Changi General Hospital, Singapore. She manages a broad range of respiratory conditions, with a subspecialty interest in interstitial lung disease (ILD). She completed her medical degree at the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore, and obtained specialist accreditation in respiratory medicine in 2017 and in intensive care medicine in 2018.

She recently completed a 12-month clinical fellowship in ILD at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, Sydney, where she was actively involved in ILD clinics, clinical trials, and served as part of the CRE-PF research team.

Dr Tham’s research focuses on improving patient-centred care, clinical decision-making, and service delivery in ILD. She is particularly interested in strategies that enhance continuity of care, address symptom burden, and support patients and families throughout the ILD journey.

She is currently working towards establishing a dedicated ILD service and setting up a clinical registry for ILD patients at her home institution, with the goal of strengthening long-term care and research capacity in this field.
