Dr Alexandra Brown is based in the School of Biomedical Science and Pharmacy at the University of Newcastle where she is investigating the role and therapeutic targeting of iron metabolism in IPF/fibrosis as well as other respiratory diseases.
She completed her undergraduate degree (and received the University Medal) and PhD in immunology and microbiology at the University of Newcastle.
