About
Dr. Aloe is an early-career postdoctoral scientist at RMIT University, working under the mentorship of Professor Steven Bozinovski.
His research focuses on identifying biomarkers and molecular signatures associated with the pathogenesis of silicosis, as well as understanding the shared mechanisms driving interstitial lung disease.
Dr. Aloe completed his PhD at RMIT University, where he investigated the potential of marine-derived compounds and metal oxide nanoparticles to enhance tissue repair by modulating inflammation and fibrosis.
With a parallel interest in lung cancer, his work also explores biomarkers and methodologies to improve the accuracy and efficacy of immunotherapy, particularly immune checkpoint inhibitors, in treating non-small-cell lung cancer.
