About

Dr Emily Lin is a Rheumatology Fellow at Monash Health and is also undertaking a PhD with the Faculty of Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences at Monash University and the Monash Scleroderma Unit. Her research aims to validate artificial intelligence algorithms in high resolution chest CTs of scleroderma patients with interstitial lung disease.

Dr Lin’s interest in research began as a medical student when she completed an honours year researching cytokines in the sera of scleroderma patients. Now nearing the completion of her advanced rheumatology training, Emily hopes to better understand the radiographic features of ILD in scleroderma and progress technologies which might better screen, diagnose and monitor this important subset of interstitial lung disease.
