Sarah is an experienced physiotherapist who has worked extensively in paediatric and adult respiratory care. Sarah is a Research Fellow within the Respiratory@Alfred Research team and is undertaking a PhD with Monash University under mentorship of Prof Anne Holland, Jo Dickinson and Narelle Cox.
Sarah holds the role of Consumer Advisory Coordinator for the Breathing Easier Together Community Advisory Group. She values the importance of partnering with consumers and the community to develop and deliver relevant and impactful research. Her vision is to provide diversity and a culture of collaboration to create a positive partnership to those living with chronic and rare lung disease.
Sarahβs research focuses on partnering with the PF Australian community to develop a standardised framework for genomics to help further support and guide the use of genetic testing into the future. Her other research work focuses on the qualitative exploration of a variety of chronic respiratory disease populations, specifically within homebased and telemedicine strategies.
