About

Ellie joined the CRE-PF as a Project Officer in 2025. In this role, she supports the general management of the CRE-PF’s programs and activities to meet centre objectives.

Ellie has a background in emergency healthcare, where she worked as a paramedic for several years before moving to a clinical support role in St Vincent’s Hospital ED. She joined the University of Sydney in 2023 to pursue an interest in research and the higher education sector.

Pulmonary Fibrosis Institute

The Centre of Research Excellence in Pulmonary Fibrosis has established the Pulmonary Fibrosis Institute, a not-for-profit company registered in Australia. The Pulmonary Fibrosis Institute exists to support ongoing research into pulmonary fibrosis and ensure the longevity of research infrastructure developed through our collaborative efforts.
