A key component of the CREATE Program is to support fellows to travel. This travel may include presenting at a conference, visiting a mentor’s research centre or for training/ short-term work opportunities.
The CRE-PF offers CREATE Travel Grants twice per year in February and August and we are excited to let you know that we have just finalised the recipients of the February round.
Huge congratulations to:
- Dr Leona Dowman from Monash University who is travelling to the American Thoracic Society Conference in San Francisco in May.
- Dr Mariana Hoffman Barbosa from Monash University who is also travelling to the American Thoracic Society Conference in San Francisco in May.
- Dr Ella Smalley from the University of Tasmania who is travelling to the 2025 Stem Cells, Cell Therapies and Bioengineering in Lung Biology and Diseases 20th Anniversary Conference in Boston in July.
- Dr Ling-Ling Tsai from the University of Sydney, who is travelling to the Thoracic Society Australia and New Zealand Conference in Adelaide in March.
- Dr Cheng Zhao from the University of Sydney, who is also travelling to the Thoracic Society Australia and New Zealand Conference in Adelaide in March.
We will make a call for applications for the August round of CREATE Travel Grants later this year.
