Today, on Clinical Trials Day (20 May 2026), we recognise the extraordinary impact clinical trials have had on modern medicine and the lives they continue to change every day.
Many of the treatments, therapies and standards of care now used around the world have been made possible through clinical trials research and because patients, families, researchers and healthcare professionals were willing to participate in and support clinical research.
For people living with pulmonary fibrosis (PF), clinical trials are especially important. They offer hope for better treatments, improved quality of life and a greater understanding of these complex diseases.
Today, the PACT Network thanks all patients, carers, investigators, study coordinators and healthcare professionals involved in clinical trials and research.
To further support innovation and collaboration in pulmonary fibrosis research, we are also pleased to announce that applications for the 2026 PACT Grant-in-AidΒ are now OPEN.
Together, we can continue advancing research, improving access to clinical trials, and shaping the future of pulmonary fibrosis care.
